Tag Days have traditionally been the largest fund raising activity for the crew program. The days are spread out over five weekends with door-to-door solicitations of Woodson attendance neighborhoods by rowers. The purpose of Tag Days is to raise money to be used specifically for the purchase of equipment, boats and oars.

Returning members are required to participate in a minimum of three Tag Days.  Freshman and novice rowers are strongly encouraged, but not required, to participate in Tag Days.  Returning rowers who do not participate in a minimum of three Tag Days will be fined $50 per missed day.  In addition, they will be required to make up one service day for each missed Tag Day.  ALL rowers who participate in Tag Days receive a Crew Dollar credit.  Rowers who participate in all five Tag Days receive a bonus, and will earn $125 in Crew Dollars.  There will be a "Double Tag Day" to allow rowers to make up for missed days.

Tag Days are also the best opportunity for rowers to earn REQUIRED CREW DOLLARS.  Remember, returning rowers must earn $250 in Crew Dollars, and novice rowers must earn $200. 

The following Saturdays have been scheduled as Tag Days. All rowers meet at Woodson High School at 8:30 to pick up materials and route maps. Allow 3 - 4 hours to complete each route. Dress warmly, and wear Woodson Crew clothing!
