The W T Woodson Crew Program is a club sport of W T Woodson High School in Fairfax, Virginia. The program was established in 1986 and today reflects two decades of excellence on the water. The WTW program is a developmental rowing program. Opportunities are provided for students with a wide range of athletic abilities to become highly trained, competitive and successful student athletes. Our program teaches novices the basics of rowing, conditioning, and teamwork.  Team members build strength and endurance, develop time-management and self-discipline skills, and the confidence that comes with being an athlete. These valuable qualities prepare our student athletes for the challenges of the future. Our goals are to field competitive boats in as many categories as feasible, to have every team member race in as many regattas as possible, and to learn the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. The WTW Crew Program is rich with a tradition of success in the Northern Virginia State Championships, The Stotesbury Cup Regatta, and U.S. Scholastic Rowing Association Championships, and the USRowing Youth National Championships.  Recent graduates have gone on to row or coxswain in programs at the University of Mary Washington, the University of Virginia, Columbia University, Princeton University and Vassar College.

Woodson Crew is a non-profit organization poised to develop teenagers into future leaders through teamwork, leadership opportunities and physical conditioning. Please consider Woodson Crew for your next tax deductible Combined Federal Campaign Donation: #14766. Thank you.
