Summer Update: 29 July 2015

Important WTW Crew:  Please take action regarding the following requirements for athletic participation at Woodson*: 

1.  Athletes must have a valid VHSL Physical on file, and
2.  Each athlete and one parent or guardian must complete the FCPS On-line Concussion Education. 

*This includes participation in off-season practices "Green Days".  WTW Crew "Green Days" are scheduled for Oct 12-Oct 17th and Oct 19-Oct 24th

  • VHSL Physicals:  Please remember, VHSL physicals are valid only from 1 May - 30 June, not a full calendar year.
    • Print and fill out the applicable portions and bring it with you to the physical so the medical professional can sign off on the physical.  Make a copy of the completed, signed physical, turn one copy in to the Activities Office or the Athletic Trainer and keep a copy of the physical for your records.
  • FCPS Concussion Education:  Each Athlete AND a parent or guardian must complete the On-Line Concussion Education, an electronic record is sent to the Athletic Trainer when training is complete.  Please note:  the online verification program is not compatible with Internet Explorer nor Chrome. Please use Firefox or Safari to complete the program.
Please do not wait to complete these action items, it can take time for the physical and concussion education training to be processed, and we want EVERYONE to be cleared to get on the water in October!
