Tag Days

Tag Days are traditionally the largest fund raising activity for the WTW Crew Program and are spread out over six weekends with door-to-door solicitations by student-athletes. See scheduled dates on the WTW Crew Calendar. Tag Days depend on favorable weather, good economic conditions and our traditionally friendly WTW neighborhoods. Tag days are mandatory volunteer requirements for athletes and their parents/ guardians. See Dues and Volunteer Requirements for requirements.

We understand and appreciate that many students may have other commitments on Tag Days. If this is the case, contact the WTW Crew President EARLY in the school year at wtw.crew.president@gmail.com so we can determine how to meet mandatory volunteer requirements.

For the 2017 – 2018 year, Tag Days will stage out of 8623 Hepplewhite Court, Annandale, VA 22003. The home is in a cul-de-sac and you may have to park on the street leading into the cul-de-sac.

  • Arrive on time to be grouped and receive their neighborhood assignment for the shift.
  • After completing the neighborhood the driver will return the athletes and money to the coordinators house.
  • If participating in both shifts bring a snack or money to get lunch.
  • Freshman/Novice athletes will be paired with experienced team members.
  • Drivers will stay within sight of athletes at all times. Drivers will be responsible for the money collected. Safety is of utmost importance! Please wear weather appropriate clothing and if possible WTW Crew Spirit Wear - we may have donated items to borrow
