Here is the first release of the VSRC Day 2 Regatta Heat Sheet. Because of all the rain some of the parking lots will likely be closed on Saturday. We encourage all parents to use the Silverbrook shuttle, because parking may be limited at Sandy Run.

The WTW Crew website will always have the most relevant information you need to know, including anything urgent or time sensitive. Please check the site often. We also share important information on Twitter @WoodsonCrew

REMINDER: There will be no practice bus tomorrow, Friday, 12 May.

IMPORTANT LOCATION CHANGE: The Senior Night Pre-Regatta Dinner tomorrow will be in Cafeteria B at WT Woodson High School (due to rain) from 7-9pm.

It is tradition to wear Senior Night T-Shirts tomorrow, Friday, to school and to the team dinner before the VSRC Day 2 Regatta. Shirts for Senior Night have been distributed to those who paid.

Please see the link for the food assignments (* requires authentication) this week (Pre-Regatta Dinner and VSRC Day 2 Regatta). Families of Seniors, unless you have a younger sibling on the team, there is NO food assignment for Seniors! Parents of Seniors are invited to the team dinner. Coxswains, please check your food assignments as there are food assignments for all Coxswains (except Seniors).

URGENT HELP NEEDED: We have more VASRA volunteer opportunities to fill for the final Occoquan regatta this Saturday, 13 May. Launch driver positions, a money collection position, and other various positions VASRA will need assistance with on Saturday. If you haven’t fulfilled your minimum of two VASRA volunteer requirements this season, now is the time to do it! The forecast is calling for rain, please dress appropriately and bring an extra set of clothes. If you have questions about the job responsibilities, there are descriptions on the WTW Crew website. Please visit the VASRA Regatta Volunteer Sign-Up site and sign-up for positions. We encourage everyone to add a cell number on Sign-Up Genius so we can call AND text with any changes to any of the volunteer positions.
  • We are also in need of one or two Launch Dockmaster shadows to take over one of the WTW Crew Launch Dockmaster permanent positions next season. If you are interested, we are looking for a volunteer to shadow in the morning from 7am-11am and one from 12pm-4pm at the VSRC Day 2 regatta this Saturday, 13 May. Please email Amy at wtwcrewcommunications@gmail.com to sign-up for one of these positions.
URGENT HELP NEEDED: We also have two more RAFT volunteer opportunities available this Saturday, 13 May. Here is the link to the RAFT volunteer opportunities.

URGENT HELP NEEDED: Parent volunteers are still needed for Stotesbury (there are even volunteer opportunities if you are not going to Stotesbury). Please sign-up here to volunteer.
