URGENT: If you haven't already, please RSVP today for the WTW Crew Awards Banquet so we have an accurate count. After RSVPing, volunteer slots will be available for you to select on the same site. Please ensure you also read the Banquet invitation with dress code and food assignments. The banquet is this Saturday, 10 June, from 5:30-8:30pm at Frost Middle School Cafeteria. The banquet is three hours because we will have dinner, awards, and a parent meeting which includes voting for next year's board as mentioned above.
  • UPDATED: There will also be items auctioned off, including nine (9) oars and these tickets, so please bring your checkbooks
  • We will bring lost and found items from the boathouse to the banquet. We also ask that any clothing or gear that was borrowed during the season be brought to the banquet by the student-athletes in an effort to return borrowed items to the rightful owners/lenders.
The Woodson Spring Sports Awards Night is today Thursday, 8 June at 7pm at WT Woodson High School.

Thank you to the student-athletes and parents who signed up to help at the Boathouse Clean-Up & Chuckwagon Clean-Up this Saturday, 10 June from 9-11am. We do still have several slots available and hope you will join us (if you haven't signed up already). Please sign-up on the Sign-up Genius site.

UPDATED: 17 June - Erg Rentals (9-11am at the WT Woodson High School Erg Shed). Erg rentals until October will be $150 per erg (39 available) and slides (2 per erg) will also be available for rent at $20. If you are interested in renting an erg and/or slides or are able to assist the morning of the 17th, please sign-up here. You must sign up to reserve your erg. Please make checks payable to W.T. Woodson Crew Boosters.

NEW: The coaches want to know what you think! All athletes (even graduating seniors) are encouraged to fill out the 2016-17 WT Woodson Athlete Exit Survey. With your input we can make Woodson Crew even better!

If you are thinking about how to stay fit over the summer, rowing camps and programs are a great option. Although the WTW Crew Boosters don’t endorse any in particular, we have many listed on our Camps/Rowing Programs/College page and there are programs run out of Sandy Run such as Resilient Rowing, Occoquan Boat Club, and Sandy Run Scullers. NEW: Here is the link with info and the online application for the Occoquan Boat Club (OBC) summer junior select rowing program. They have two more spots open in the program. No sculling experience is necessary.
