Chuckwagon Workdays, Amazon Smile, Erg Sprints Registration, Open Volunteer Position

NOTE: There is still practice this Friday even though it is an early release day.

1. NEW: Chuckwagon Workday #1 9am-12pm this Saturday at WT Woodson. Our Equipment & Logistics team needs a few extra hands prepping our old trailer (the ‘chuckwagon’) for sale! (Don’t worry, a bigger better one is on its way!). Bring work gloves, putty knife, and dress for the weather as this will be done outdoors. This is an excellent way to fulfill a team volunteer commitment! Sign-up here.

2. NEW: Chuckwagon Workday #2 9am-12pm on December 29th at WT Woodson. This time you will be removing and transferring the interior shelves. Mr. Stump will have the necessary tools. Dress for the weather as this will be done outdoors. Sign-up here.

4. REMINDER: The 34th annual Erg Sprints take place Saturday, February 2nd at T.C. Williams High School. Look for 2,000 meter events as well as 20 and 30-minute, half marathon, marathon, relays, 500 meter sprints, double and quad slide, parent/child, and kids events. Athletes do not have to qualify to enter and all ages and levels of experience are welcome. Early registration closes December 31st. Get more information at www.ErgSprints.com and on RegattaCentral.

5. REMINDER: Away Regatta Food Tent Coordinator. We are still seeking a volunteer to fill this position. This position fulfills both VASRA requirements, and two team volunteer commitments. The excellent news is that we have parents on the team that have previously held this position so there is a wealth of guidance and support for the job. It is a great way to provide meaningful support to the team.
