VASRA has requested launch drivers for the HOTO regatta. This would be a good opportunity to brush up on launch driving skills. This year, volunteers will receive a free t-shirt when they sign in for their first shift at the volunteer tent. You will also receive a $50 credit towards your WTW Crew volunteer requirement. Parents and student volunteers are needed to help get the launches and motors out of the river, prep the boathouse for the winter, and update the inventory. Sign-Up: Work Day Sign-Up 7. TAG DAYS Are Coming. The best way to meet your minimum fundraising commitment! Saturdays: 12 & 19 Nov; 3 &10 Dec; 7 & 21 Jan Largest fundraiser for WTW Crew, brings in over $20,000 annually. We need parents and crew members support to continue the success of Tag Days this season! Each rower can earn $100 in fundraising credit per tag day shift up to a maximum of $300 in 3 shifts. Parents can earn $50 in tag day credit for either driving during tag day or hosting a tag day at their home. There are single shifts and double shifts available. Please read the Sign-up Genius information carefully as to which shift you are signing up for. If a parent signs up to host Tag Day at their home, the Tag Day coordinator will contact the parent in advance to provide all of the forms and guidance to set them up for a successful day. Also - we are looking for a Tag Day Coordinator to step up and take on this position for the 2017 / 2018 season next year. If you are interested, the current Tag Day Coordinator, Mary Claire Boucher (mcboucher@verizon.net), will be happy to answer questions and show you the ropes.
