Thank you to all of those who made it to the meeting. ***URGENT ACTION NEEDED: St. Andrews Regatta is March 31st (in two weeks). You can find all the information you need here. Registration is due by this Friday evening, March 23rd. This includes the $75 check, Parent permission form and Parent contact form (only two forms). Packets and payments may be mailed or dropped off to Jami Shawley at 4105 Duncan Dr., Annandale, VA. Packets and payments can also be turned in at the Pasta Dinner on March 23rd. ***The remainder of the Away Regatta form packet is located on our the website, wtwcrew.org. You may turn in the entire completed packet all together this week, or you may just turn in St. Andrew’s now and Stotesbury/SRAA no later than May 4th. 2. NEW: Pre-Regatta Dinner Food Assignments for all families. Our first pre-regatta dinner is this Friday from 7-9pm at the Pesansky’s home (details - requires authentication *). Thank you to the Pesansky family for hosting and to the parents who have signed up to help. Here are the dinner and RAFT food assignments for all families (requires authentication *). Please bring the assigned food items to the pre-regatta dinner, even if your student-athlete is unable to attend the dinner UNLESS your student is attending the WTW Chorus trip. 3. 5. REMINDER: Volunteer Opportunities. Thank you to the student-athletes and parents who have signed up to help in various roles so far! If you still haven’t satisfied your volunteer requirements, (especially your VASRA requirements) NOW is the time to sign up! Much thanks to Eleanor for signing up as the Away Regatta Food Coordinator! We also are looking for a Fundraising Committee Chair to begin to plan for next year. The person who fills this position will receive two (2) VASRA and three (3) regular volunteer credits. We still have a few VASRA Workday slots available on the Sign-up Genius. 6. REMINDER: Practice Bus. If you missed Bus Registration, you haven't missed the bus! We will continue to take bus registrations with pro-rated costs and will now also offer single-day rides for $20 per day as long as the student-athlete has a daily bus rider agreement form signed by a parent. If the carpool coordination is too inconvenient, too unreliable or just too much, consider signing up for the super convenient and reliable daily practice bus.
